Background
The Forza Styled Speedometer project originally started in 2021. At the time there were a lot of requests from the community for a Forza Horizon style speedometer in GTA V, and that was enough motivation to give it a try.
One of the main reasons the project got off the ground was JulioNIB's speedometer tutorial and the help he provided. Without that it probably wouldn't have gone anywhere.
The original version was eventually abandoned due to texture issues and other technical limitations. The project sat unfinished for a while before I decided to come back to it.
When I returned, I restarted everything from scratch. After a lot of redesigning, texturing and testing, the project became what it is today — the current Forza Styled Speedometer.

In Development
Projects currently being worked on. Details may change as development continues.
The Crew Motorfest Speedometer
A new speedometer inspired by The Crew Motorfest, designed to capture approximately 70% of its visual style while maintaining smooth performance. The mod is currently in the texture development phase, with ongoing work focused on refining its texture assets and overall quality.
This preview represents an early concept design. It is not an in-game screenshot and the final version may differ from what is shown here.
Forza Skill Chain
Inspired by Forza Horizon 5's Skill Chain system, a continuous scoring streak where players accumulate points by performing driving stunts such as drifting, jumping, and smashing destructible objects.
This mod is still in the early planning stage and represents only a concept at this time. As plans may change during development, there is a chance that the mod may not ultimately be released.

Legal
Some projects featured on this website are inspired by user interface designs, dashboard layouts, and visual styles found in other video games.
All mods published by RexMods are fan‑made projects created for the GTA V modding community. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the assets included in these projects are created from scratch and are not extracted, copied, or redistributed from any commercial game.
Textures, interface elements, dashboard graphics, and other visual assets are designed by RexMods using publicly available reference material such as gameplay footage, screenshots, promotional media, and personal artwork. These references are used solely to study visual style, layout, proportions, and design language while creating original assets suitable for use within GTA V.
For example, the Forza Styled Speedometer and other similar projects are inspired by the visual presentation of racing game dashboards. However, the assets included in the mods are custom‑made recreations and are not taken from the original games. While certain layouts, styling choices, and design concepts may appear familiar, the textures, graphics, and implementation are created independently for use within GTA V.
